Class INFO
This is a feedback-based class, each participant will email work to discuss and will get approx 15 min for feedback. When helpful or appropriate I will use art historical images or my own images to illustrate a point. the feedback is generally concept based, so it will be beneficial to each student to see the discussion around others’ paintings as well, but if you can only be at class for your time slot that is fine. (I will send out the order before the first class). The feedback is often based on value organization, because it’s such an important and interesting part of painting, we will look at images from art history to support this.

SUBMITTING IMAGES
Your images are due the day before (Tuesdays) at 7;30 on the Google Classroom platform. This gives me time to have a look at everyone’s, make notes and get them in order- if you submit late (because you paint on Wednesdays) it’s ok – I won’t have the prep time to review but you’ll still get feedback- so it’s up to you! No images will be accepted after 6:30 on Wednesdays.
Please submit one image of work and one image of each reference. it’s usually not necessary to submit multiple images of either, so please try to avoid doing that unless there is a specific reason.
Size/quality/format
Please send images in JPEG format only
Please send medium quality (if you are using an iphone) the small is too small and there is no benefit in this case to extra large files.
Take your pics in good light, try to avoid glare and please crop them to the image– everything is relative so they don’t have to be AMAZING but avoiding incorrectly cropped or glarey images will be very helpful.

Cancellation/prorate etc.
There is no prorating for these sessions, if for some reason I have to cancel I will offer a refund for the class or you can have it as a credit towards your next class. There are no refunds on the class once registered. There are no refunds for missed classes.
